Install IMonitor Software with McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.7.0i

Please follow below instructions to install IMonitor software,

  • Please open McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.7.0i console
  • Disable 'Access Protection', 'Buffer Overflow Protection', 'On-Delivery Email Scanner' and 'On-Access Scanner'
  • Install EAM client
  • Again open McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.7.0i console
  • Double click 'On-Access Scanner' and 'On-Access Scanner Properties' window will pop up
  • Click 'All Processes' on the left of window, and then click 'Exclusions' tab on the top right of window.Again click ' Exclusions...' button, 'Set Exclusions' window will pop up
  • On the 'Set Exclusions' window, 'click add' button, copy below line into the field 'By name/location (can include wildcards * or ?):
    • C:\Windows\System32\drivers\imonagent\
  • When all done, restart computer.
