This instrument introduces the ASEAN Customs Transit Procedure (ACTS). Under the jurisdiction of asean Ministers of Transport, the main AFAFGIT Protocols are Protocols 1, 3, 4 and 5, while Protocols 2 and 7 fall under the jurisdiction of Customs. Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand have agreed to conduct a pilot project to test AFAFGIT protocols in action with industry.
